Babol Noshirvani University of Technology Ranked First in Research Quality Among Iranian Universities for the "Third Consecutive Year" in Times Ranking 2026

In the newly released 2026 edition of the Times Higher Education World University Rankings, Babol Noshirvani University of Technology has once again secured the top position in research quality among 101 leading Iranian universities. This ranking is based on a metric that evaluates university’s role in spreading new knowledge and ideas.

It is also noteworthy that in the overall ranking of Iranian technical universities, Babol Noshirvani University of Technology placed fifth—following Amirkabir University of Technology, Sharif University of Technology, Iran University of Science and Technology, and Shiraz University of Technology.
